2. Set the target range (level and breadth)

3. View pace guidance whilst exercising as a red triangle to the left when below your zone and a green triangle to the right when above it

5. Optional pause timer to display how long you have stopped for mid-session

Premium features

Once stats are enabled, the following values are written to the .fit file and stored with your activity, viewable in Garmin Connect;

1. The target zone you defined

2. % of activity spent in your target zone

3. % of activity spent above your target zone

4. % of each lap spent in your target zone

5. % of each lap spent above your target zone

6. A graph of where you were and were not in the zone across the entire activity

SETTING POWER AND ENERGY EXPENDITURE

Ranges are specified as a target number and a percentage range as for the other metrics. The range can be specified to have the target at the bottom, in the middle or at the top.

Power (when you have a power-meter) is set in watts.

Energy expenditure is set in kcal/min.

SETTING SPEED

Value is expressed as a decimal with "." as the decimal separator. Valid units are;

  • "mph" for miles per hour
  • "kph" for kms per hour
  • "mps" for metres per second.

For example;

  • "8mph" is 8.0 miles per hour.

SETTING PACE

Value is expressed in mm:ss or hh:mm:ss with ":" as the separator. Valid units are;

  • "/10km" for time to complete ten kms
  • "/100y" for time to complete 100yards.

For example, if you set a range of 20% with a target of 12kph or 5:00/km;

  • "Slowest is target" range will be 12kph to (12kph + 20%); 12kph to 14.4kph
